Disciplinary Actions

In the event that a student does not demonstrate appropriate behavior, a variety of consequences and techniques will be utilized in order to create a positive change in the student;s behavior. The following list of possible actions may be used:

1. Verbal reprimand 7. Parental contact
2. Time out from activity 8. Clean up and/or payment of damage
3. Seat or location change 9. Detention
4. Restriction of privileges 10. Alternative Learning Center
5. Behavior modification contract 11. Out-of-School Suspension
6. Suggested counseling 12. Suspension of right to participate
(teacher, principal, or psychologist) in class/field trips - any student

placed on out-of-school may have

class/field trip privileges revoked.
