Visitors

Alumni and adult visitors are required by law to sign in at the office, indicating the reason for the visit and name of the person being visited. Visitors are requested to make appointments in advance of their visit. Faculty members will be notified upon arrival of visitors.

Student Visitors---Argyle High School students having out-of town guests stay overnight are discouraged from bringing them to school. If there is a specific educational justification for an Argyle student to bring a guest to school, the student MUST obtain a VISITORS PASS REQUEST from the office AT LEAST TWO DAYS IN ADVANCE of the requested visit. This will allow adequate time for the host student to obtain permission from all of his/her teachers and from his/her parent. Visitors may not ride the ACS bus. Only students who currently are enrolled in school may visit ACS if they have permission from their home school principal.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE MAY A STUDENT ACCEPT A BABYSITTING JOB DURING SCHOOL HOURS AND EXPECT TO FULFILL THAT JOB BY BRINGING THE YOUNGSTER TO SCHOOL, NOR DOES THE NEED FOR A BABYSITTER AT HOME CONSTITUTE A LEGAL EXCUSE FOR ABSENCE.
