Please take notice that the BOARD OF EDUCATION OF THE ARGYLE CENTRAL SCHOOL DISTRICT will hold its monthly meeting of members of the Boards of Education on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at 7:00 pm , REMOTELY THROUGH ELECTRONIC MEANS DUE TO THE COVID-19 GATHERING RESTRICTIONS.

Members of the public will be able to follow the meeting via a WebEx Event by calling in at +1-408-418-9388  and using Access code: 132 114 6612 followed by the # sign.   Members of the public wishing to have video access to the budget hearing must contact the district clerk at DistrictClerk@Argylecsd.org  by 1:00 pm on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 and request a Webex video link be emailed to you.

Argyle Board of Education Meetings

  • Argyle Board of Education meetings are generally held the second Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Argyle CSD Library. The board president presides at each meeting and the district clerk records official actions of the Board of Education. Also in attendance are the superintendent of schools, business manager, building principals, and director of special education.

  • The Argyle Board of Education welcomes Argyle residents, staff, students, parents and other community members to its meetings. Occasionally, it is necessary to change a date or call a special meeting. Changes to a meeting date, time or location will be posted on the district website.

  • Meeting minutes for a particular meeting must be approved at the following month's board meeting prior to being posted online.

      • Public participation is encouraged.  There will be two specific open forums at each regular Board meeting to provide opportunities to address the Board of Education.  We ask participants who wish to speak during the first open forum to that all speakers both sign in and identify themselves verbally and, if applicable, the organization they are representing so that they may be recognized by the Board President.  For clarity, we ask that all speakers identify the school-related matter/topic to be discussed. The Board of Education appreciates public attendance and participation at meetings.

  • Executive Session - may be scheduled to discuss personnel matters, labor negotiations and other matters which are confidential as defined by the Open Meeting Law of the State of New York. Executive Sessions are called for by the Board President and are closed to the public. However, the Board is not permitted to vote on the passage of any resolution while it sits in Executive Session.
