Natural Helpers

Natural Helpers aims to use the "natural" helping network that already exists among our students. Training is provided to individuals that are already sought out by their peers. Much of the training is focused on the needs of the Argyle community and our student population. It provides Helpers with skills to help others more effectively, and an understanding of who to turn to in more serious situations; Helpers are taught to recognize their own limits and when a situation should be referred to a professional. Natural Helpers may deal with day to day problems such as relationship issues or more serious situations like depression or drug use.
