Emma Harwood Selected for HOBY Seminar

Argyle Central School proudly announces that sophomore Emma Harwood has been selected to attend the Hugh O’Brien Youth Leadership Seminar.  Emma is the daughter of Mark and Stephanie Harwood.  She participates in a variety of extracurricular activities including: Basketball; Tennis; Skiing; Younglife; Art Club; Interscholastic Equestrian Association; Vice President of Class and works as a waitress.

Trisha Perkins has been selected as the alternate H.O.B.Y. representative.  Trisha is the daughter of Nikita Maurer.  She participates in Drama Club and Recycling Club.  She volunteers at the Argyle Library and a local animal shelter.

The H.O.B.Y. Foundation was established to give outstanding sophomores the opportunity to interact with recognized leaders in business, government, science, art, and education through workshops designed to develop and stimulate young people’s leadership abilities.  The Seminar will be held in May at SUNY Oneonta.
