Dilyn McKernon Receives The 2025 DAR Good Citizen Award

Argyle Central School is pleased to announce that senior Dilyn McKernon has been honored with the prestigious 2025 DAR Good Citizen Award. Nominated by the school faculty and chosen by her peers, Dilyn was recognized for embodying the core values of dependability, service, leadership, and patriotism. She is the daughter of Ryan and Lori McKernon.
Dilyn has shown exceptional involvement in both academic and extracurricular activities throughout her time at Argyle Central. Her leadership roles include serving as class president, student member on the Argyle School Board, and actively participating in the National Honor Society, FFA as president, yearbook club as president, Big Brothers Big Sisters, clay target, and student council as president. Beyond the school community, Dilyn is also an active member of Young Life and 4-H, where she serves as president and a beef ambassador.
The DAR Good Citizen Award recognizes outstanding young people who demonstrate leadership and service in their communities. Dilyn’s selection recognizes her character and commitment to making a positive impact.
