District-Wide Practice Remote Instruction: October 21, 2020
Posted on 10/13/2020

Dear Parents and Guardians,

In preparation for the potential of a COVID-related school closing, the district will conduct a Practice Remote Instructional Day on Wednesday, October 21, 2020. The goal of this day is to ensure that all students and staff are prepared for remote learning, should it be required in the future.

On Wednesday, October 21, 2020:

  • All faculty and staff will report to school.
  • All students will attend school remotely - from home -  for instruction. We will use this time to practice logging in/accessing Google Meet/Google Classroom and participating in remote instruction.
  •  The district will use the first half of the day for remote instruction and the second half of the day (after 11:30 am) for Professional Development for faculty and staff.  Remote classes will not be held after 11:30 (Students will not need to join any classes after 11:30 on this day).

Please Note:

The district will send iPads/Chromebooks home with Elementary students on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Students will bring the devices back to school with them on Thursday, October 22,2020.

We will
not hold this practice day if we are required to close before October 21, 2020. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the main office.
