U.S. News Names ACS Jr/Sr High A Top Middle School
Argyle Central School District is proud to announce that Argyle Junior/Senior High School was named a 2025 U.S. News and World Report Best Middle School for placing among the top 40% of middle schools in the state of New York.
Schools were evaluated on their share of students who were proficient or above proficient in their math and reading/language arts state assessments. The ranking formula was equally divided between assessment results and performance contextualized within the school's socioeconomic demographics.
"We're proud of what our students and teachers achieve every day," said Argyle Junior/Senior High Principal John Galarneau, "This honor reflects the hard work of everyone who continuously strives to provide a high-quality learning environment."
