Continuing Education Through Spring Break

Continuing Education Through Spring Break
Posted on 04/01/2020

Dear Argyle CSD Parents and Guardians,

I hope you and your families are well. I am writing to clarify the executive order regarding the extended closing of schools that Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued on March 27, 2020.

According to the Governor's order, schools are now required to continue instruction, meals for students, and childcare resources every weekday, including days originally scheduled as part of the district’s spring break (April 10, and April 13 through 17, 2020.)

I recognize that this is a stressful and challenging situation and we apologize for any inconvenience that this may cause.

As a reminder, please visit our website: www.argylecsd.org for updates and information regarding the district’s response to COVID-19.

Our student’s emotional well being is of the utmost importance -  I also encourage you to visit the following “Counseling & Community” webpage if you or your child are looking for community resources to cope with stress/anxiety of the current situation: https://sites.google.com/wswheboces.org/wswhecounseling-resourcess/home

We understand that you are managing many personal and professional responsibilities during this time and would like to thank you all for your continued patience, understanding and support.

As always, please do not hesitate to contact the district office if you have any questions or concerns.

          Sincerely,

          Michael Healey

          Superintendent
