Students With Disabilities

If a student has been designated as having a handicapping condition, the CSE Chairperson will be notified of the student’s status and, with the Principal, a determination will be made whether a formal or informal CSE review is necessary. If at any time, due to behavior, there is to be any consideration of a change in a student’s educational program, the district’s CSE procedure will be followed, including parental notification, due process, etc.

The administration shall develop guidelines and programs for in-service education programs for all district staff members to ensure effective implementation of school conduct and discipline. The building Administrator will review the discipline policy with the faculty on an annual basis.

The Board of Education will review this policy annually and amend when appropriate.
