Dear Argyle Parents/Guardians & Students,
As we continue to work with our local and state health departments for accurate and timely information and guidance concerning the spread of COVID-19 virus, we will continue to update you with information as it becomes available.
Although No Argyle students or staff members have been diagnosed with COVID-19, we feel it is best to assess school gatherings, extra-curricular activities, and field trips with an abundance of caution and make decisions about cancellations on a case-by-case basis.
That being said, the district will suspend all field trips outside of Argyle through the end of March.
Over the course of this month, and as more info develops, we'll make decisions about our scheduled school gatherings, extra-curricular activities, and field trips scheduled for April and beyond.
We will continue to update you on how the coronavirus situation will affect our district. I also encourage everyone to obtain information from reliable sources including CDC, Washington County Public Health and the New York State Department of Health.
Please continue to check our website and your email for updates from the district about other cancellations or postponements of school-related events.
Michael Healey
Superintendent of Schools
