6th Annual Scot Trot

6th Annual Scot Trot
Posted on 04/30/2019

The sixth annual Scot Trot will be held on Saturday, May 25 at Argyle Central School. The Scot Trot is a 5K run/walk which was originally started by an ACS junior in 2014. Daryn Hutchings, cross country runner, founded the race in response to the unexpected death of teammate Lexus Sterling in 2013. Hutchings, now a senior at SUNY Binghamton, will be at the race on May 25, and plans to compete. The proceeds from the race benefit The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Prizes will be awarded in a variety of categories. The Argyle chapter of the National Honor Society and the Argyle Natural Helpers make up many of the necessary volunteers for this event. You can pick up an entry form at school, or click the link below to open the form. Please email Susan Passaro, 7-12 Principal, with any questions.
