On March 24, 2019, ACS students from the Big Brothers Big Sisters program, National Junior Honor Society, and Elementary Student Council spent their Sunday afternoon raising money for the Bowling for Kids Sake event!
At this year's event, we had our largest group of participants and raised a record-breaking $3,234! 51 students and 5 staff gathered together for this event and demonstrated what makes us proud to be a Scot – a small school willing to make a BIG difference.
Students from grades 3-12 represented ACS wonderfully and trophies will be on display in the Main Office for the next couple of weeks.
As an added highlight, at the event, a larger school district approached staff inquiring about our programs and asked how ACS is able to have such a high rate of student participation.
We are very proud to say #WeAreTheScots
